Ooof! This is a hard one! I love to travel. But to visit a fictional world, wow, that would be amazing. But, maybe, also terrifying! lol I do like some intense books!
Could I go to Rebecca Yarros' world in Fourth Wing and ride a dragon? That would be sick! Probably a bad idea since I'm a bit scared of heights and accident prone, but still! That would be a dream come true!

I love this question! I feel like as an author there is so much we can draw from in the "real" world. You don't always have to make everything up. Just like in Dead Girl, I drew a lot from my home town. Because, honestly, it's those real world experiences, relationships, places that make stories so relatable.
Not enough room to go into detail, but.... ;) If I were writing a contemporary paranormal story with ghosts, I might use a few phenomena that I have experienced, like: unexplained tv glitches, smoke detectors going off when there's no smoke (and yes the batteries were fine), and more recently taking a photo in a "haunted" location and having the person next to me in the photo erased. Spooky! Now those could be some fun plot points in a ghost story!
