Paul Ramirez "The Adventures of Paleta Man" book series was an idea we had for an Latino Superhero. I wanted a character that kids could relate to and one summer day I was driving through downtown San Antonio, Texas when I noticed a PALETA MAN selling ice cream popsicle from his bicycle cart to a group of children. There were so many kids around him, wanting a paleta, that he could barely be seen. It was then that I knew kids would love the Paleta Man. the superhero!
Paul Ramirez Right now I am working on two NEW Bilingual children's books entitled "Lola & Irene" and "Pablo Flies to The Moon", due out in early 2015.
Paul Ramirez My advice for aspiring writers is to "just get your work out there" and see what happens, if it's good people will respond by buying your books.
Paul Ramirez The best thing about being a writer is being able to convey your ideas to an audience of readers.
Paul Ramirez There is really nothing in particular that I do to deal with writer's block. Ideas come to me whenever I get inspired by an event or place.
