The key to being an author is persistence and working on one's craft. We can't control who reads or purchases our work. We can just continue to use our gifts in ways that express our authorial calling. Perhaps it is good to remember that many famous authors did not get discovered until after their death. That may not help current sales, but it is a reminder that if we write from the heart then what we share will have value.

I am currently working on a bible study guide on marriage. With all the talk about biblical marriage and marriage equality, it seemed like a good idea to create something that could aid our conversation. While this isn't a book focused on marriage equality, I approach the topic from the perspective of one who supports it.
