I would say, that it would be, having your favorite character that you write about, decide to write himself out of the story in your dreams. Pretty much woke up crying and decided that he and I were going to have a war about that. I was NOT writing him out of my books.

Well, I have been lucky. If I have writers block on one story, I move to another and write there. I suppose if I get it, or am too tired to write, I go curl up with my pups and watch a movie. I dont panic. It will come back to you. Sometimes your brain just needs a break from their world. Or the characters need a break.

Just write ! Get your story out there. Dont care what others say, its your story. Some will love it, some will hate it. Some will say, of its only supposed to be X words. Its your story. I saw on a writer page, 4 rules I go by.
1. First know all the rules. Grammar, spelling, short story, flash, novel, genre, everything.
2. Learn that sentences are longer than 12 words a lot of the time and that's okay.
3. BREAK THE D@MN RULES. Do that for a specific reason, a purpose that contributes to the story. Think about it, use it, and ignore every person who says you can't or shouldn't.
4. Enjoy the writing experience.

Back in 2005, I played DND with a friend. My characters name was Chahaya, and her other half in that book was Greylan. They encountered a Red Dragon named Rendgren. I said to the DM, I LOVE that dragon. Give him to me. HE joked and said, what about Greylan. I was like Meh, Greylan is Chahaya's. I want the Bad Boy all the way. So, I ended up writing the first book for Chahaya but its 277 K and needs pairing down. ( among other things ) so I though. I want to play with Rendgren. So this story came about.
