Hock G. Tjoa Try a search/google. Both Goodreads and Amazon have recommendations but they change these from time to time. Check the general promotional advice but be careful as many of these try to make money off you.
Hock G. Tjoa I liked Jonas Jonason's The Hundred year Old Man, LOVED Lois Lowry's Messenger, ditto Molly Harper's Even Tree Nymphs Get the Blues.
Hock G. Tjoa Hi, William. We'd be happy to have you! The best way is to check on the group once a week and see. My current travel plans mean I won't do a novella group until mid-June - but check out whatever comes. One of the "in this world" or "out of this world" groups might appeal to you. I lurked for a couple of months before joining one! That was nearly ten years ago ...
Hock G. Tjoa I find my imagination requires WORK!

Hock G. Tjoa Hi Sharon,
The Ninja and the Diplomat is just out but is a very different kind of book. It is a spy novel set in contemporary China/Asia. I'll send you a copy - but no obligations.
A review or rating is always nice!
Hock G. Tjoa My mistake and apologies. I'll remove when I am able to-am traveling with a tablet.
Hock G. Tjoa YES. It is on sale/promotion until Dec. 11 for 0.99.
Hock G. Tjoa When I was in college, majoring in classics and history, the Oresteia by Aeschylus was required reading--part of the foundation of western culture and democracy or some such. Well, I didn't "get" it. Every decade or so since then I have wondered why not, especially with the appearance of different translations and "Notes." Then it occurred to me to mulled over the myths/legends that inspired it and to come up with a version that made sense to me. Here it is.
Hock G. Tjoa Finishing "Agamemnon Must Die" (my take of Aeschylus' Oresteia) and starting the sequel to "The Chinese Spymaster."
