Knowing the kinds of books I enjoy that is a very risky question. I don't know that any fictional world I've read so far is necessarily safe enough for me to want to go to them. But if I HAD to pick it would definitely be one of the Dungeon and Dragon worlds, Ferun or Eberron perhaps. Because I would absolutely love to become a bard or magic user within those worlds.

Right now I'm reading Werewolf Cop by Andrew Klavan and a few other recommended books from my local library.

Definitely how things magically move from where I've put them to where I find them. I bet its gremlins. Once they actually made off with carrots from a ziplock bag in the fridge after I'd thought I gotten smart and put a camera facing the kitchen, just to make sure. Sly little beasties.
