What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Christi Anna I get to make up fantastic stories and no one can tell me I'm doing it wrong. If I want to make a vampire impervious to the sun or a mermaid sprout wings and fly, I can, because that's what I do. I make stuff up right off the top of my head. People love that. And I love that.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Christi Anna The main story itself is a conclusion of the series, but the theme, the castle, the drift backward in time, so to speak, was actually inspired by Taylor Swift's music video, 'Love Story'. Crazy, I know.
