What brought you to my door, Tony. have you perchance read any of my books, especially the Sci-Fi?
Tony Thorne I'm not sure... but have you read any of mine? They are mostly SciFi.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Tony Thorne Never give up, but learn to recognise an opportunity!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Tony Thorne I predicted the coming Singularity many years ago and recently realizing how near it is now, and how little, if anything, general readers know about it, I decided to write a book explaining it to them. e.g. How over 80% unemployment, in probably less than ten years from now, will affect us all. How will we co-exist with machines that are far smarter than any human less than a genius. etc. etc.

The book's success led to the Chinese government's IT Books Division offering me a publishing contract for it. .. to be in Simplified Chinese. It will be published over there in eBook and paperback editions early next month.

Tony Thorne The 4th.novel in my POINTS OF VIEW "trilogy" ..!!?

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Tony Thorne I just call up a newspaper on my Kindle reader and scan through it. I always find a headline that looks interesting and either that or the content of it gives me a new idea... and away I go.
