I had the idea for Moonlight Crusade years ago but held off on writing it due to the glut of vampire stories choking the market. This was when Twilight was huge and everyone was writing vampire books.
I think the earliest inspiration for me was the Underworld movies starring Kate Beckinsale. They were so cool back then and I was a huge fan.

I have a few ways of dealing with writer's block. The first is to sit down and start writing. I find the words come to me naturally.

It varies depending on the book. My Infini Calendar series is roughly PG-13. My Divine Protector books are somewhat debatable. They range from hard PG-13 (most of them) to R (Aragami). Moonlight Crusade is very much R.
