As Bradly felt the warm flow of blood dripping from his hair, down onto his open hands, he pondered why he felt no pain from his supposed injury. It wasn't until he felt the hot and heavy breath on the back of his neck, that he realized he was not alone.

The Catcher in the Rye. It's been too long since I've read it and I need to read it again. Anything from James Patterson.

I'm related to the Hatfields of the infamous Hatfield & McCoy Family Feud. Growing up in Southern West Virginia as a child, and having Hatfield blood in my veins, could develop several plots in my mind. Maybe it already has?

I really don't deal with writer's block. I deal with a lack of sleep. I still work a full-time job, 55+ hours a week, with a wife and two kids still at home and my oldest daughter about to have a wedding, When I finally sit down at my laptop, that's when the real battle begins. Zzzzzzzz.

After writing out what I think to be the most disturbing, crazy, mindblowing, at times, disgusting thing I could have ever thought of, I realize that I'm not as crazy as I thought I was! Now I have the perfect outlet to release these inner thoughts, characters, and scenarios. You're welcome!

Never give up! If it's your dream, keep going. I've been in the game for almost twenty-three years and I'm finally starting to see some success. I've walked away several times, defeated, depressed, with low self-esteem, you name it. But I never quit. I took a little break each time and always walked back to my laptop and started again.

Life's typical ups and downs. I'm a man of scenarios. I can watch something as simple as a man running down the street, exercising, and then he almost gets hit by a car and the gears start turning in my head, within five minutes, I have a synopsis. Music is also a big motivator!

The idea for 'You're It!', actually came to me back in 1996, but I wasn't established yet. This story had been building in my mind all these years and I finally put ink to paper in 2020. As I started to write it, I used events of my own childhood as I grew up in Roderfield, WV. I also put some of my friends and family members into the story (with their permission) to add a little more reality and character.
