I'm heading into my fourth year of research on a long-running saga series I plan to write based on Irish mythology and pre-history. I'm so very close to part one, book one, but since I keep amassing more material I 'need' to read, it's constantly getting pushed from immediate to near future.
In the meantime I'm working on getting my third book ready for release this year. It's called 36, and is a post-apocalyptic thrillery thingamabob!

Oh God, whatever's at the front of a very, very long queue! I'm doing a talk at a convention in June. My topic is 'Has post-apocalyptic fiction run its course? A look at what it is about the genre that keeps us coming back, and why the end is not yet nigh for 'The End'. So I plan to get through as many of my post-apoc books as possible by then.
