Kenna Campbell Writing a book is lots of little baby steps. Take one baby step, then take the next. Finish the book, then take all the baby steps over again knowing more than you did before and finish the next book. There is no perfect. There is no "right". There is just learning.
I think this applies to any big thing anyone wants to accomplish.
Kenna Campbell The hard truth I had to learn when I really committed to being a writer and to finishing a book: it's hard work. Sitting down and starting to write for the day is not easy, but once I get in the flow then I become inspired. Sometimes when I am half-way done with a book, I have created a habit of showing up each writing session then I feel more inspiration pulling me to the end. More often that not, inspiration happens to me during the brainstorming phase than writing.

Kenna Campbell I am currently working on Book 4 in my Photine Fortier Mystery Series. It's Photine's first Christmas since she started her new life. And to be honest, it may not be a popular opinion, she hates the holiday season. She feels surrounded by Father Christmas and needs a ready distraction to get her through the end of the year.
