I also work as a book cover designer, so if the words don't flow, I hope the designs do! Sometimes, it's better to leave a manuscript for a day or so if I'm suffering with writer's block. Then I go back a few chapters and read them again to see whether they need changing or tweaking, and then I continue to work from there.

My work in progress is the third book in the London Vampire Chronicles. Although the second book is more of Will's and Ellie's story, this third book is Stevie's story. I just thought his story deserved to be told. I always like the idea of bringing a secondary character from an earlier book into the limelight.
