Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Bill Felker GARDENING WITH JEANIE grew out of years of regrets and guilts and soul-searching and gardening after Jeanie died.

How do you get inspired to write?
Bill Felker I just decided I had to start writing. That was on April 14, 1957. I'm still writing. Compulsion.

What are you currently working on?
Bill Felker I am working on a memoir about my relationship with my wife, Jeanie, who died eight years ago. She was a kindergarten teacher, and she taught me the fundamental lesson.

Bill Felker Today I would go to the strange paradise of Wells' and live with the carefree Eloi. I would hunt Morlochs in the night.

Bill Felker I just finished THE TIME MACHINE by H. G. Wells, and I'm going to follow up with the WAR OF THE WORLDS.
