If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Dave Brigham I would love to be a fly on the wall as Jack Kerouac and Neil Cassady traveled across the country. Not entirely fictional, although they were lightly disguised in On the Road, I suppose.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Dave Brigham From a road trip I took in 1988, believe it or not. Took me 10 years to write it, but I think it's the best thing I've ever done.
