Ron Francis I take a long walk and try to envision myself in the story. If that doesn't work, I read a couple novels, and if I still have trouble, I begin a new project to get my mind off my block. I'll go back to it a couple days later with a fresher look and that helps get rid of the block for me.
Ron Francis I get to create cool worlds, fun tech and hopefully great stories. I get to know that what I've written will stir a reaction in someone else even if they hated it (but hopefully they liked it). I get to meet people who have read and liked my books and that makes me happy I wrote it.
Ron Francis Just write. Even if it's only for yourself. Begin exercising that muscle. I wrote my entire Endeavor series before I ever even took a class, and it shows. The amount of errors in grammar and other issues were incredible, but I didn't know any better at the time. I received a bunch of bad reviews for that sort of thing, but I don't regret it, because the early success gave me the desire to continue. I've taken several classes since then, and I feel like my writing is getting better with each book. So, just write and don't give up if it's what you really want to do.
Ron Francis I just released my newest book, Cadogan's Gamble, and this week I am going to begin working on the sequel to Dunamis Covenant: Reluctant Hero.
Ron Francis Actually, I got laid off and suddenly had loads of time on my hands. I had always wanted to write, but never had the time, and I was without any more excuses.
Ron Francis My newest Book, Cadogan's Gamble is about a bounty hunter. I've always liked the concept of bounty hunters and had been wanting to write about one for a while.
