Shira Anthony Hi Tricia! I'm so glad you enjoyed the Mermen of Ea books. I have a sequel series in mind I hope to write in the near future. <3

Sorry about the trouble you had on Amazon. All of my books should be available there both in paperback and ebook format. It looks like there's a problem with the Prelude link on Amazon - I've asked the publisher to fix it so when you click on the paperback, it goes to the English version and not the translation. You can also find the paperback on the Dreamspinner Press website, so that's an option in case it takes a bit for Amazon to fix it (sometimes they're slow).

There's a third Coastal Carolina series book in the works. Hopefully I'll get it finished in the next year. Writing can be a challenge now that we're living full-time on our boat.

Thanks again for your kind words. It really makes me smile! -Shira

Shira Anthony Hi Charlie! Thanks for asking and sorry about the website. My host was down for a little while but it should be up and running again.

I'm working on the first Dragons of Anuki series book but I've had to put it on hold for 6 months since I'm quitting my job to write and sail full-time for the next 2 years. All that means that, starting in December, I'll have a LOT more time to write and the first series book is one of my top 3 projects.

So it'll be a little bit, but I've got the entire series plotted out and I'm so excited to get back to work on it. Hopefully without a full-time real life job, I'll be able to get a lot more written. <3

Stay tuned for more updates on my website this winter! -Shira
Shira Anthony Thanks for asking, Jazzie. The decision about what to put on KU is my publisher's (Dreamspinner Press). To be honest, I'm not sure how they decide what to put there and if there's a limit to how many books they can offer through KU. Amazon has a lot of rules.

Dreamspinner runs some great sales off its website, though, so you can often pick up the other 2 series books for a steep discount. There's no deal going on right now, but if you contact me directly, I'll see what I can do to get you a code. <3
Shira Anthony Aww, thank you Andrea! Thanks for asking. I know a lot of readers want to be able to read the complete series.

I got a bit sidetracked with other projects and had to push back the completion date for the series. The good news is that Blood & Ghosts is just about finished, but I don't have a tentative release date yet. Probably mid-2018. It's due this fall to the publisher.

In the meantime, I have a standalone contemporary paranormal coming out mid-September as part of the new Dreamspun Beyond line from Dreamspinner Press. So if you like paranormal that's romance-forward, you may enjoy that one. It's called "Finder's Keeper." You can find the blurb on my website: http://www.shiraanthony.com/books/fin...
Shira Anthony Thanks Andrea. I know this one has been a long time coming. I anticipate it will be released in the first half of 2017, probably late spring.

I do have another book coming out in August of this year. "Take Two" is a romantic second chance at love story featuring a professor and a Hollywood superstar and set in one of my favorite places at the coast. It's a lighthearted, one-off, standalone story.

I may write more standalone series like Blue Notes in the future. I have a few ideas along those lines, so we'll see!

Thanks for being patient! And thanks for asking. :D
Shira Anthony Thanks for asking, Andrea. I totally understand that some readers want to be able to read the entire series straight through.

I don't have a set publication date, but I'm working hard on the final series book, "Blood and Eternity"! As soon as it's submitted and I have a tentative release date, I'll make sure I post it here. -Shira
Shira Anthony Thanks for asking, Lisa. You're safe starting with "First Comes Marriage". The Dreamspun Desire novels aren't really a series, they're part of a brand new line of books from Dreamspinner and it's #2 in the line. They are totally independent stories (not at all interrelated), all of them written in the old "category romance" style (classic Harlequins were category romances). #1 in the line is from MJ O'Shea, "The Millionaire Upstairs". Sweet, sexy, with the kind of HEA you'd expect from Harlequins. Slow burn romances with classic tropes (mistaken identity, marriage of convenience, rich man/poor man, etc.).

You can buy books individually (Dreamspinner, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, ARe, etc) or get them at a 30% discount in ebook or paperback on monthly subscription from Dreamspinner Press.

Hope that helps! -Shira
Shira Anthony Thanks Amy! Dreamspinner tells me that audiobook production of the final installment in the series will begin in December and should release sometime in January. Michael Stellman's a busy narrator.
Shira Anthony No problem! I know some readers don't like series books. "A Solitary Man" is a one-off, single book that resolves at the end. No sequel is planned. I have another single book, "First Comes Marriage," that will be released on January 15th as part of Dreamspinner Press's Dreamspun Desires line. That book will also be a standalone.

Thanks for asking Andrea. :D
Shira Anthony I get inspired to write everywhere. I keep my eyes and ears open, and I let my imagination wander. I got the idea for a short story in my Blue Notes series while I was at the symphony a few weeks ago. It had nothing to do with the music being played, but I imagined the conductor must travel a lot, then that thought led to another. Pretty soon, I had a plot!
Shira Anthony You've all probably heard these answers, but they're really good advice:

1) Write. Every day.
2) Get honest feedback on your writing. If it doesn't sting a little, it's probably not all that honest.
3) Write. Every day.
Shira Anthony Thanks for asking Rachel - I wouldn't have known the link was dead if you hadn't! It looks like they changed the URL for the story. I've updated it on the book listing, or you can click here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I don't know about the .pdf link, but I'll look into that as well. The story has been incorporated into the 2nd edition of "Blue Notes #1", but I've left the original up here on Goodreads.
Shira Anthony I'm working on several projects right now including the final installment in the Mermen of Ea Series, "Running with the Wind," a joint project with author Michael Halfhill, and the second book in a new vampire series. Not to mention a number of other projects on the back-burner including a story with author Cody Kennedy and another Blue Notes Series novel featuring Jules Bardon's little brother, Guy. Way too many things!
