I drink a lot of wine. No, just kidding (sort of) I guess it depends on the style of the book. My latest book was quite a bit darker than the other two I have written, and for this one I did find myself slipping into character a bit. There were times I had to stop writing the book for awhile because it was giving me nightmares.

My most recent book, BURNED, is based on true events surrounding the death of my mother in a house fire and the events that happened after her passing. She passed away March 25th 2010, so I found it fitting to release it on the anniversary of her death.
