Sean Sweeney My psych thrillers have male protags, but my political thrillers have strong women kicking ass! Start with Model Agent, then go down the line. Rogue, Double, the novella (Promises Given, Promises Kept), Federal, Literary, Travel, Chemical, Ticket, Scouring. All the titles have AGENT in them.

Hope this helps!
Sean Sweeney Westeros, for obvious reasons... although I'd probably die.

Middle-earth, for obvious reasons.... but do I go as a hobbit (because I like to eat) or as an elf?

And that GFFA, for obvious reasons.
Sean Sweeney Well, I'm about a day or so from starting ABIGAIL by L.L. Craft; I've been wanting to read that for a few months now, and that's next on my list. I have a Michael Connelly on my coffee table that I'll be reading; right now it's under my notes for SCOURING AGENT. I also want to read my friend Michael Crane's GOODMAN'S BAD DAY.

I also have some research books I need to read, including 1776 by McCullough. I do hope to read Chuck Wendig's pre-Force Awakens trilogy, if there's time.

And I have the first draft to PERSUADED BY THE REFLECTIONS which I need to read next month to keep the book on a November publishing schedule.
Sean Sweeney Great one! I would think it would be my never-ending battle with the squirrels at my bird feeder. Would be an action adventure type of story, especially if they fight back and hurl sunflower seed shells at me.
Sean Sweeney Well, if you're asking about my own work, I have to go with Jaclyn and Tom, for obvious reasons. For another fictional couple, Han and Leia.
Sean Sweeney I look at my stomach and it says to me, "You need to fill me up."

And then I start writing.
Sean Sweeney Everyone says read every day. I would prefer to say, "Write every day." Learn your craft, and learn by doing.
Sean Sweeney Is there such a beast? Nah, I don't believe it exists. I simply apply my fingertips to the keyboard and write SOMETHING. You can always delete it later if it doesn't work for the story. Just get something on the page.
Sean Sweeney Wearing pajamas and sucking down loads of coffee... and making stuff up as I go. :D
Sean Sweeney I'm only a few hours away from starting the first draft of the eighth full-length Jaclyn Johnson novel, Ticket Agent. There's going to be a short story that precedes the novel, and the only way to get that story is to be registered on my mailing list. That story will go out around September or October.

For those of you interested, here's how you register: http://seansweeneyauthor.us3.list-man...
