It’s not for sale at the moment, but it's coming back! Dreamspinner acquired Grown Men and I’m currently revising and expanding it. A new version of the story will be rereleased shortly... along with two sequels in tight succession.

Probably not through my website, but I can definitely hook you up! :) Through Dreamspinner, I've sold paperbacks and hardcovers which they've sent them to me for signing. If you reach out to the office and let them know what you're wanting, we can make it happen. Thanks for asking!

Thank you so much, Denise. I appreciate that so much. :D

Honestly, it sound sliek a cliche but Jane Austen. EVen when I'm in the middle of writing a project I'll go back to read and reread the canonic Austen novels. Sometimes there's a tone element. When I was working on Pent Up I kept hitting Persuasion over and over. For Hot Head it was Pride and Prejudice and with Hard Head it's been Lady Susan.
I also find that I'll go outside of the genre when I'm stuck. Mysteries and suspense that are rich with character detail (e.g. Ruth Rendell, Dorothy Sayers, Ngaio Marsh) have a way of shaking things loose. And for subgenre projects I'll read in related classic genres, just to get my head on right. LOL
And it sounds crazy, but for sex scenes it's poetry: Frank O'Hara, Keats, Elizabeth Bishop, Rilke, Heath-Stubbs, you name it. That kind of precise, extravagant language always helps me get intimacy right.

Both are coming! :) Thank you so much. <3
Pent Up is already in the pipeline and a new/improved Grown Men and two sequels will also be coming as well.

Yes, if I can stick to my schedule. :) I have Scratch #2, and the followup to Grown Men within the year. Lord willing and the creek don't rise. LOL

Hey! The next will be the erotic cowboy contemporary we talked about. :)

Thank you so much! There are definitely "teams" of fans for each of the guys. Very psyched the book resonated so much. :)
Damon Suede
Not at all. I've actually written the next book (Hard Head) but editing it has taken MUCH longer than expected. So no, they definitely have more to come.

I'm sorry to say Grown Men is out of print right now, but will be released and re-covered by Dreamspinner in 2016 with a new Hardcell novella.

Write hard; write every day; write like the world is burning down around you. The great hurdle of modern publishing is that everyone has access to the tools of an author, even if they lack the passion and diligence to make a career of it. Typing is not writing. A marmoset can mash keys and fill a page, but if you want to be a writer you should be writing every day of your life with focus and enthusiasm. I always tell my students, if there is any other thing on this Earth that you can be doing, then you need to go do it immediately.
Being an artist is not a disability. No one owes you time, attention, or money for putting letters together in whatever order. You should try to kick your ass every chance you have and get better with every book. Good enough isn't. People will take your writing as seriously as you do, so decide what you expect and invest your attention accordingly. Always be looking for a better way to convey the thought. Specificity is the key to all greatness. Dream hard.

Thank you!
Hard Head (aka Head #2) is going to be Tommy's story, but Griff and Dante are very much secondary characters within the book because of their connections to him.
So much of Tommy's story is bound up in the Red Hook community they all share... It won't be a Griff & Dante book, but they are major characters in Tommy's book as his friends and coworkers.

Oh my Lord I need this book in my life. I just finished "Hot Head" and am so glad to hear we will get to see more of what happens with Tommy.

LOL You sound like Heidi Cullinan. She HAMMERS me about Ziggy's book.
ZIggy's book is already in my queue; I'm so psyched to write him. I just needed to find some research about CP and sexuality so I could do the job credibly and I finally met a group that's going to make sure I get the details right.

Hey!
So sorry for the delay replying. I just saw this question. There is no hard ETA on Hard Head at the moment, but the manuscript (All 300k ridiculously overwritten words of it) is sitting on my computer and I keep chiseling away at it. The process of writing the Hot Head sequel ended up being pretty intense, for many reasons.
That said, with a manuscript that ginormous, I will definitely have extra chapters and bonus scenes aplenty. But...it IS coming and the only reason it's taken this long is because I love those characters too much to half-ass them. LOL And I'll be posting updates on it as I start drilling down in earnest.

I saw your comments but since it is now June 2017 I was wondering what was happening with this book. I loved the first one and would love to see a sec

Many thanks for the kind words!
I don't have a date, but only because my schedule has been so bananas. I did write a prequel called SEEDY BUSINESS which you can download from my site, but you may have already found that one.
But YES, there will be sequels, and it's just a matter of stealing the time in my calendar. :)
