I get inspired everywhere. I love bouncing ideas off my son, daughters, and my grandchildren while driving in the car, around the dinner table, or hiking in the woods. They are so gracious with their encouragement and support.

My dear friends were going to bring their son, I think he was 5 at the time, out to visit my horses at my ranch. But he got sick and was never able to come. I invented a little girl, Lina, who visted him in the hospital and told him the stories of the horses that lived in Avenrand.
