The best thing for me is to go for a walk in nature. Not only is it good for writer's block, it is also great for my health! Going for a walk helps me to get into the creative and intuitive side of my brain. I have currently submitted another children's book to publishers. It deals with a young boy who witnesses nature living in complete harmony. He goes on an adventure to find out the different lessons that nature can teach humans with such ease and grace.

I had a very powerful dream one night about a young girl named Sarah who had just passed away from a very rare brain tumour. She was back to her giggly, mischievous self twirling in a meadow filled with wildflowers and said, "Susanne, I have faery wings instead of angel wings because they are so much easier to run and play around the meadow in. That dream made me research everything I could about faeries and I found that they were considered to be a wee bit mischievous and are also called nature's angels. The ABC Field Guide to Faeries was inspired by Sarah and this very powerful dream.
