B.G. Wood The idea for the Maidenwell Mysteries came about about ten years ago when I visited an exact recreation of Stonehenge that was located on the Columbia River, not too far from where I live in Oregon. The Stonehenge monument was built by Sam Hill, a 19th century industrialist (https://www.maryhillmuseum.org/outsid...). I became fascinated by the concept of recreating British places in the U.S. and that led to the idea of Maidenwell, an exact recreation of a quaint English Village built in the badlands of Eastern Oregon. B.G. Wood The fifth book in the Maidenwell Mysteries: TO KILL A ROCKING BIRD
B.G. Wood Maidenwell, Oregon, of course. It's an exact recreation of a quaint English village but located in a remote area of Eastern Oregon.
