I'm not sure that my real life is quite so mysterious. Though mybday job is with the court system so I get to hear lots of mysteries. And they do show up in my writing from time to time.

I find that immersing myself in art helps me through the blocked patches. I read a great book, see a good movie, watch a lot of Netflix, visit an art museum, or listen to music to get myself in the mood to write. I've also been known to write fanfiction under my pen name of Gypsy Rose on fanfiction.net. #TeamSherlock
