Christine Kling What a wonderful question to get!!! Thank you. I don't want to say goodbye either, but after the end of Wreckers' Key, I wasn't sure what do with Seychelle and BJ. I didn't know how they were going to sort out the situation I'd left them in. But then I personally met a guy and after 18 years of being single, and I fell in love. He proposed and I had to deal with the question of marriage. That made me think about Seychelle and BJ and I finally could see how they would navigate those waters. I hope to have the book ready for publication in early 2016.
Christine Kling Yes, and thank you for asking. I didn't see this question when you first posted it - probably because I was in the middle of writing the third Riley novel. But that is now finished and finally, I have started book #5 in the Seychelle series. No title yet.
Christine Kling Freedom. I can write anywhere, so I have the freedom to travel. I get to choose what I want to write about. I can decide where to sell my books and how I'm going to market them. I am free to really be me.
Christine Kling As we approach Christmas 2014, I am hard at work on the third book in my Shipwreck series. This time Riley and Cole are in Malta in the Mediterranean , and I have three timelines going: 1798 when Napoleon kicked the Knights out of Malta, 1942 when Malta was under siege, and 2014 when Cole and Riley arrive in Cole's new boat. The tentative title is Knight's Cross.
Christine Kling I loved to read as a kid. And I made up stories in my head whenever I was bored. My dad was a music professor and when I went to classical music concerts I always made up stories to go with the music. In seventh grade I had a teacher who had us write stories and share them with the rest of the class. Some kids said they really liked my stories. That was the hook. I liked making up the stories, but I REALLY liked the powerful feeling of sharing them and having other people like them.
