I had a mini-midlife freak out and made a list of all the things I thought I would have done (but hadn't) and challenged myself to accomplish everything on it before my 40th birthday. #40 was write a book. At first I had no idea what that book would be about...but as I crossed more items off of my life list and shared the experiences and lessons learned with friends and family, it became clear that the book would be about that journey.
