Who was your favorite character to write and what’s the inspiration behind them?
Astraea Long This is a really good question... I love all my characters and it was super fun to write all of them, especially the big three ;) but maybe Tal because he's the least like me, so I really got to explore a different personality. Basically, he was my take on 'what if Kaz Brekker had the personality of Tony Stark and the vibes of Andrew Minyard?' You can imagine it was a lot of fun to piece their most interesting traits together.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Astraea Long Honestly, everything I read is too angsty for the world to be a good place to go to. I guess I would go to the Vampire Diaries world and become a vampire or something.

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Astraea Long The story behind my mother almost giving me away to my millionaire aunt????? I will definitely write a story based off of this someday.
