The best thing about being a writer is the freedom to let my mind wander while I slip into the characters and become them. To me, being a writer is no different than being a reader. It’s all about the escape from reality.

Experiencing writer’s block stinks so when this happens I stop and go spend time with my family. They are my rock and even if nothing comes to me right away it’s OK because I got time with them.
