How do you deal with writer’s block?
Sally Hanan I just get on with it. Even if it's complete drivel, I still keep typing. There'll always be some nugget left in there, even if most of it gets deleted the next day.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Sally Hanan Being able to pour myself out like a fresh drink and bringing laughter and thoughtfulness into lives that might otherwise miss a moment of sweetness.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Sally Hanan Write because you love to. Write because it makes you happy. Write because the words fill your mouth and they spill out onto the page and you can drink them back in like the tonic of the day.

What are you currently working on?
Sally Hanan I'm editing someone's book about insurance. Ha!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Sally Hanan I've been teaching this material for many years, and I knew I could help more people understand and get to know the Holy Spirit if I put it all into a book that could travel.

How do you get inspired to write?
Sally Hanan I'm very much a "get 'er done" type of girl, so once I feel as if I have enough experience to draw from, I teach it a few times in the form of group studies or to a room of people. Then I'll sit down and put all that knowledge and experience into something that is useful enough for anyone to learn from and use.
