With QOBAS being my first book I didn't really know what I was doing when I first started writing. It just happened, I had to get the words on the page. I started by writing the scenes I had imagined, developing the story as I went. There was lots of stopping and starting as I developed the world and the characters. There were aspects of the story I had originally written, but I realized they didn't fit how the story needed to be told. They were not the best way to tell Lennox's story. Once I let those things go the rest of the story came together. It was a lot of work, there were countless drafts, but I learned so much writing QOBAS and I am proud of the end result.
