The Wild Space Series. The response to these short works has completely floored me. I originally started writing these books so I could break away from the Thrones and Prophecy series for a bit. Little did I know, readers were hungry for science fiction. I've found a niche and now I'm having a hard time breaking away from it.
I'm excited that people love the Wild Space series. My main focus is on that. However, I am revamping Twins of the Prophecy and preparing to relaunch it under a new title and with new material included in it. I'm also writing the second book in the Thrones and Prophecy series as well. As time allows, I have a number of other stand alone books that are in various levels of development. I hope to get those completed and out by the end of the year.

I think every writers path is different and giving advice isn't always the best thing a published author can do. I think we all need to explore that road on our own and let it be our own journey.
What works for me won't necessarily work for you. What worked for him, won't necessarily work for you or I, either.
If you want to be a writer, be a writer. Take the traditional publishing route. Take the self-publishing route. Blaze your own path. But whatever you do, just go and do it. Let your passion for writing guide you and make it a reality.

The greatest thing about being a writer is being given the ability to allow my mind to create and explore new worlds. Nothing is in my way and everything is possible. I love the freedom!

Writer's block is a crazy thing that comes and goes but the best way to fight it is to prevent it. Before I begin my writing process, I take the time to outline the book. I don't go into great detail, but I put down the general ideas of each chapter and how they set up the next chapter or ideas that will be developed later on. If I get stuck at one point, I can easily jump ahead to a different chapter and begin writing that part instead.
Many times what happens is when I jump ahead, I create new conflicts and adventures that need to be connected back to what I left behind earlier on. It's a great way to develop new ideas and allow the book to write itself.
When I do a good outline, I rarely suffer from writer's block. The real problem becomes, "I want to watch a movie or do something else."
