Caramia Sami Currently halfway through the first "Trials of Apollo" book, about to begin "Gideon the Ninth" for the first time tonight :)
Caramia Sami DON'T DELETE ANYTHING! (At least, not until you finish that first draft). Make notes on where to revise, but do not delete anything until you have the whole story in front of you. There are multiple drafts for a reason, so there's no need to be perfect first go. See where you land first!
Caramia Sami Usually I have to get traumatized to some degree and then my brain copes with ghosts and silly lesbians with swords. My internal dialogue is something like "wow that irrevocably changed me forever, let me write chapter 24 of Heart of Arson. Well, that was heavy... let's have my characters get freaky in the middle of a hallway." All jokes aside, half is my subconscious and a culmination of my experiences, half is just storytelling and building the world I crafted within my head. Music helps a lot too!
Caramia Sami Book 2 of Heart of Arson! This story was originally supposed to be a novella, but blossomed into a multiple book series. I will say, most of book two is primarily what I had in my head when it comes to the overall concept of the series. I'm very excited to put it to paper and share it with those who have been following along!
Caramia Sami Cry. No, honestly for mild cases I have a playlist for my stories that I listen to. Severe cases, I simply experience life, feel my emotions whether they are good or bad, and work on other crafty creative ventures.
Caramia Sami I can be delusional and nobody can tell me no. When I'm done with my delusions I can hold them in my hands and be silly and look through them over and over again
