Hi Angela, was curious if you have a release date for The Guardian yet?
Angela Aaron I'm so sorry it's taken me this long to answer you. But good news! The Guardian has been released as an ebook and is available at Amazon, Smashwords and Nook. The softcover is in the works and shouldn't be too much longer. I'm very pleased to say Hollie Jackson will be narrating the audio version for this one, also. The audio should be available in May from Amazon, Audible and iTunes. Thank you for your question. :)

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Angela Aaron I have a great circle of friends that just talking to gets me over the hump. Brainstorming is so important to me. It helps stimulate new ideas and inspires me to keep going.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Angela Aaron I suppose it's similar to how an actor feels. It's a chance to live a different life, be a different person, get swept away in a fantasy without being insane.

What are you currently working on?
Angela Aaron Shadowstone: The Guardian is almost complete. This is part one of a trilogy. Part two is The Ghost and part three is The Witch. I'm going to take a break in between one and two and collaborate with another author on a vampire romance.

How do you get inspired to write?
Angela Aaron I've never had a problem coming up with ideas. My mind is always filled with story ideas. It never shuts down.
When it's time to actually sit down to write...music helps set the mood. I have an ipod with about 5000 songs on it of every type. I can always find something that takes me away.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Angela Aaron I have always loved the idea of the hero being from another time. Despite being a strong alpha, the character also has vulnerability because he is displaced. I also love all things Celtic and have always wanted to set a story in Scotland. Shadowstone: The Guardian takes place in the beautiful remote location of Skye. The idea came to me one night in that place between wake and sleep.I was so taken by the idea, I made myself get up and write it down before returning to bed.
