U ask about my alarm clock. Well I have 3 construction workers all around my RV. So btw ^-630 a.m., them big pickup truck of theirs start revving up. So that's my alarm clock 6 days a week. Think I like urs much better?? Hahaha CeeCee

What's it like being a practitioner of the written word? The incredible worlds reading takes me to are my life and so you are, for many folks such as myself, a creator of life. Again, what's that like? Thank you for being a "creator of life" !
Vered Ehsani Hey Shorty - great question! I love the act of creating. For me, if I don't create something every day, I go a bit nuts. Being able to create a world with my words, and then have others visit and enjoy that world, is a thrill!

What does 'steampunk' mean to you, Vered ? I haven't heard of this term since joining 'Goodreads' and wonder what does it mean ? Ah, the silly inane questions of a Goodreads neophyte............. Though I don't lose sleep about it, unless it interferes with tea time. (Gasp, gasp, heavens nooooooooooo !)

Vered Ehsani I don't have writer's block, as I keep writing even if I think it's rubbish, and I avoid editing while writing.

Vered Ehsani My mind is always spinning with stories or scenes or characters; writing lets them out.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Vered Ehsani I've lived in Kenya for a number of years now, and was curious about the local mythology and stories of the paranormal. This led to my current series, The Society for Paranormals, about a paranormal investigator working in colonial Kenya (first book to be released in early 2015). Along the way, I also wrote a small compendium ~ From Africa with a Bite ~ about African supernatural creatures; this book is for free on my website (http://veredehsani.co.za)
