I get inspired to write from my experiences of life… it can be the difference between emotions of difficult times. To the very exciting ones…. Like getting a book contract on the second try and being told it was well written…I mean come on…that’s inspiration in enough…I get inspired from the struggles and by the world and what my opinion is of it. And I think it interesting to place my riddle of words to a modern day twist of old problems and new ones.

Traveling back in time to meet people that are great influencers of their times. All the stories come from somewhere…however, can you imagine being able to meet the mad hatter for tea time? Or see flying butterfly bread or even talking flowers?

My experiences have been out of the normal lately. I get my inspiration from my life with my husband. It’s a fairly new experience writing poetry. However, I enjoy it and it calms my husband to hear my words. We translated them to other languages because I thought it be nice to let my family in Germany that don’t speak or read English, be able to read it. And then it just became a thing to do in other languages for other countries. I think that the poetry sounds pretty in other languages as well…and some of them are political humor and have hidden facts and meanings. It’s just a way to engage a border audience. Now I am currently writing another book. And have been stead fast in getting a publisher to offer me a contract to make the content refined where they can and I can’t. Just a housewife with a talent for poetry.
