Thanks for the question S. McPherson. I do most of my own publicity through social media, with my FB author page doing the majority of the heavy lifting. I also tell just about everyone I meet about my books and give them a stylish matching bookmark so they can find me later. It's surprising how many people ask if I have any copies of my books with me for them to purchase.

Write every day. When you're not writing, think about writing. Always have something handy to jot down any ideas so you don't lose them because inspiration can come to you anywhere at any time.

I am about halfway through the second book in the Echoes trilogy, Echoes of Enchantment. This is the back story to the first book, or a prequel, if you will. It is based in the mid-1800s, but will include elements to continue the story in the present day.

One of the best methods I have found to deal with writer's block is ninjas. Essentially, a ninja is just a character who does nothing more than create havoc. Once this character starts bending the plot, the creative juices usually start flowing again. Ninjas can be temporary, just to start the plot moving again, and edited out of the story later. They can also be permanent and morph into one of the players throughout the rest of the book.
A great example of the latter is Amy Stark in Echoes of Immortality. Initially, she was only supposed to get me over a hump, but she turned out to be a necessary part of one of the subplots in the book. Truth be told, I don't believe we have seen the last of her either.
