I'm currently working on a contemporary paranormal romance series set in New Orleans and Seattle. It's very grounded in the real world, but with some foundational supernatural elements. One of my beta readers described it as "Dark and sexy a la Vampire Diaries, but instead of a brooding, New England teenager/vampire love triangle, Cloaked is an intimate, real portrayal of new love with a supernatural twist, set in New Orleans."

This is a really hard question for me to answer. It changes on any given day. My gut reaction says Rhage and Mary, J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. But, I love Bell and Zadist too!
Another fave couple of mine is Gemma and Kartik from the Gemma Doyal Trilogy by Libba Bray. That series leaves you with feels you have to untangle for a while after finishing it.
