I wrote Burn a Black Candle because I had a deep need to pass down my family's practices to my daughter. Growing up, I always felt that what my family didn't wasn't "real" or "official" magic somehow -- simply because I couldn't find any books on the shelf that described what we did. So, for my first book, I was determined to write down what we did to share with others and so that my daughter would have something to carry with her into the future.

I am currently working on: 1) an Italian American Oracle deck and accompanying book, 2) a guidebook for my Emblemata Lenormand deck, and 3) research for a book on grimoire magick. I want to make this style of magick more accessible to people and simpler to understand. Grimoires are a passion of mine -- I love old books and manuscripts, particularly those on esoteric subjects.
