Keep writing--do it every day--and read. READ. When you finish a book you love, take time to look at it again from a writer's point of view. How did that author craft her words? How did he make you fall in love with the main character? Consider your writing as practice and don't worry that it's not perfect, as long as it's your best now. Don't hide your stories. Share them with others and learn to accept their criticism so you can improve your writing.
