Willow Rose Hopefully soon Bernie! The story isn't over yet. I am planning on writing it soon. I'll post about it on social media and in my newsletter once I start writing it.

Thank you!

Willow
Willow Rose Hi there! My husband designs my website and keeps it updated for me. He is in charge of anything that isn't writing. That way I can focus on getting my stories out to my readers. I am very blessed to have him take care of everything so I can concentrate on what I love to do.

Thank you!

Willow

Willow Rose That is wonderful Patty. I am so glad you like my stories. Right now I am finishing up a new Rebekka Franck book that will be out soon. I don’t know when I will write the next Emma Frost but I hope to be able to soon since I really enjoy writing that series and I am looking forward to telling the rest of the story. If you follow me on Facebook or subscribe to my newsletter you can be among the first to know when I start writing it. Thank you!
Willow Rose I have to admit I have never really thought about it. I don't do the covers myself. But I will definitely make sure she is properly represented in the upcoming covers. Thanks!
Willow Rose I am writing a few mysteries right now, but will get back to the series as soon as I am done. I am planning to release the next in the early fall.
Willow Rose Yes I will!! I love writing about them. Did you read the latest two? Waltzing Matilda and Better not cry?
Willow Rose I don’t own the rights to this book unfortunately. Otherwise I would have published it in English already.
Willow Rose Hello Akshara,
I do not outline. Not on paper at least. In my head I have the entire story ready before I start writing it. I always gather so much material and details that I am about to explode before I begin.
I have always told stories I guess and enjoyed writing short stories when younger. I think that was why I became a journalist to begin with. I just realized I would much rather make up my own stories.
Characters I create from people in my life. Even people I meet briefly can be a huge inspiration. I always make sure to mix them up enough for them to not be able to recognize themselves. I like to watch people and I especially enjoy the craziness in us all.
Good luck! 😊
Willow Rose Hi BJ,
I used to be a journalist at a National TV Station in Denmark. I loved crime stuff but found out I would much rather make up my own stories. So I did. The first book I ever wrote was in Danish and was about something I had experienced as a reporter when following the police investigation of the murder of a Danish truck driver whose body was found in Poland in a bush behind a brothel. The body had been there six months and was eaten by animals so it was hard to identify him. It was a strange story and I created my own version of what I believed happened. The book was only published in Denmark.
Willow Rose Hi Beth. I published my first book ten years ago, but until six years ago I only published about one book every second year. Six years ago I started writing faster and now I publish 5-6 books a year. I have an ordinary workweek from Mon-Fri like most people and work while the kids are in school from 9am-3pm. I guess I am just a really fast writer, because I do take time off in the summer and around Christmas and always for my birthday. My brain is however always at work and new ideas are constantly buzzing in my head. So when I get to the computer, I know exactly what to write and that makes me faster. I don't have to stop and think about the story. I know where I am going. Hope that is an answer to your question. Love Willow

Willow Rose yes my newest, To Hell in a Handbasket can. And Edwina. They're both horror so you've got to like that type of books. I have also written several short stories. In the fantasy department you can read Song for a Gypsy and I am Wolf. They are both standalone.
Willow Rose Dear Natalie,
I am thrilled you liked the books. The next one will be out by the end of September/beginning of October if all goes well. It will be the tenth book in my Emma Frost-series. I'll post on my Facebook page for more news about this when we get closer. Thanks for asking!
Take care,
Willow
Willow Rose Everything and everybody inspires me. It might be a dream, it might be an article I read, it might just come out of the blue, but my brain is always working and the ideas pop into my head constantly. I never start writing a book until I know the beginning, the middle and the end ... and then some. It has to feel like I'm about to explode before I start writing. In that way it'll burst out of me.
Willow Rose I just finished my upcoming novel "There's No Place like Home". It's the eight book in my Emma Frost series and will be out by the end of September. I have started a new novel yesterday but the title and content will remain a secret so far.
Willow Rose Read as much as you write. And don't think your first work will be perfect because it won't. Just write it. Don't stop and think that it's not good enough. Make the next book better if you're not satisfied.
Willow Rose There are so many great things about being a writer. I get to plan my own day, I get to do exactly what I like the most and I get to work from home. I can take a day off if I want to (but I almost never want to because I love writing so much) and basically I just have a lot of fun.
Willow Rose I grab my surfboard and go surfing. It clears my brain right away and makes me so happy. Sometimes all you need is a diversion. I get my best ideas when I'm not working. When I'm playing with my kids or when I'm at a dinner party. It's never convenient.
Willow Rose I recently moved into a new house and sensed how uneasy I felt the first night I spent there in new unfamiliar surroundings. So the killer in my next book kills people when they spend their first night in their new homes. The book is called "There's no Place like Home" and will be out by the end of September.
