I am currently reading a lovely little self-published ghost story called Jennifer's Secret by Kathy Madsen. It's a fun read.

I, in fact, was inspired by a real-life fire and disappearance of a woman several years ago in Fulton, IL when I started plotting Forgive Me Not. The fire and disappearance were where the similarities ended, Tragically, I don't believe she was ever found.
