Yes, I did. Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Crushed was re-released by a publisher, and you can find it here. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
It has a new cover, but they are still listing it under K.C. Blake. I'll have to do something about that.
My latest book (the start of a new series) 4-Ever Hunted was just released. I think it's by far my best book yet. You can check it out here

Romeo and Juliet. Although it had a sad ending, I love how they fought to be together and came up with a plan. Fate worked against them, and the plan didn't work out, but it was a beautiful story.
In more modern work, I would vote for Jace and Clary in the Mortal Instrument series.

I had to retire the paperbacks and start from scratch since changing my name on them. Another woman started using the name K.C. Blake and was writing erotic material, so I opted to change to Kasi Blake. I will start putting them in paperback again soon. I've just been super busy.
As for Mortals Rule, it is available as a pre-order from Amazon in digital form. It will be a while before this one gets turned into a paperback because I'll have to format it first. The release date for Mortals Rule is Halloween, but if you pre-order it before then, it will automatically upload to your device on Halloween. Thank you for your question. Sorry it took me a week to see it. I don't know if they'll let me share the link with you, but I will try. https://kdp.amazon.com/amazon-dp-acti...

I listen to music and let the characters talk. It's weird, I know, but scenes will flash into my mind that way, and I'll hear the characters. When I have something good, I sit down and put it on paper.

Sorry, no, I do not. I am still working on the outline for Legend while writing Mortals Rule, which will be the last book in the vampire series I wrote. Then, if I have a good outline, I'll write the book. Since it is going to be the last (at least the last one with Bay-Lee and Nick), I want it to be awesome. But as I was telling someone else a minute ago, I may do a series about Tyler Beck and his bad touring the world and killing monsters. That series will take place before he meets Bay-Lee. I might also continue the series with other hunters at some point. I'm not sure yet, but I loved the world they live in and I would hate to say goodbye to it forever.

Good question. Wow, that was a long time ago. I sat on the idea for years before actually writing it, but it started with my well-known obsession with a show called Supernatural. One day when I was watching an episode (can't remember which one), I started thinking that a book about a school for hunters would be awesome. There are so many books now that showcase monsters as the good guys, like Twilight, so I felt it would be a nice change. I picked Van Helsing as the founder because he is 'THE' hunter that all hunters should aspire to be. The idea for Tyler Beck actually came from a different series I was going to write and hope to someday still do it, a series about a rock band that travels the world and slays vampires (among other things). After creating the character of Bay-Lee, I felt he would be a good complimentary character for her to fall in love with. :)

I love Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan, Stephen King, and S.E. Hinton will always be a favorite. I read Hinton's "The Outsiders" when I was a kid, and this book inspired me to start writing. I still pick it every few years and read it again. Love King's books because he makes the impossible seem possible. His characters are so real, so true-to-life that I think every writer should read his books for that reason alone. I love Clare because of The Mortal Instrument series and how awesome Jace is, as he is my favorite book boyfriend at the moment. Brennan wrote a series called The Demon's Lexicon, and there is a surprise at the end of the first book that is truly amazing. Never saw it coming. I highly recommend it. Thanks for the question.

Living in other worlds that I create with characters I love. It's always hard to say goodbye.

Read a lot. Write a lot. Mainly, don't give up.

I am writing Mortals Rule, the last in the series, and I"m outlining the dragon books.

Music. The right music sets the mood and helps the creative juices to start flowing.

When I was writing for Harlequin, my nephew wanted to read something I wrote, but I told him he didn't need to read a romance about solving a murder, so I wrote a dragon book for him. He loved it. Now I'm rewriting it for the public.
