Hi selina. I just entered to win your memoir! I'm struggling with bulimia and anorexia. I've had these for 25years. I've been in inpatient rehab and have had many hospital stays. I'm hoping to read your story. Thank you for sharing it. Do you still struggle at all?
Selina Elison Hi Jennichole. Thank you for reaching out. The book is about my daughter's struggle. She went through family-based therapy which is quite effective, however, having said that, the re-wiring of the brain takes its time. She has been well for one year now. I hope you win the giveaway! Look after yourself and don't struggle on your own.

Selina Elison I am currently working on a humorous book. A satire about ageing.

How do you get inspired to write?
Selina Elison The need for a better understanding of eating disorders and the role of the carer, who supports the patient on their recovery journey, inspired me to write. At the time I was working together with a memoir writing mentor who believed in my story and encouraged me all the way.
