I never try to deal directly with writer's block. It can be too strong if you want to face it.
When the writer's block comes, I leave my computer and go somewhere else thinking everything but my story.
Sometimes I decide to take a long walk or to cook... Gardening can be perfect too. And when you relax, suddenly new ideas come. That's it.
