I would go to the world of Narnia as created by CS Lewis. I would go wherever the Great Lion Aslan could be found, and do whatever task he had for me, because that is sure to be a great adventure!

Well, the short answer would be, it's a Cinderella retelling—so, from Cinderella, of course. The longer answer is: I didn't originally plan to continue Crown of Stars after the first book, but when the King showed up in Saving Beauty (book 1) and after a particular scene between him and the heroine (I won't tell you more if you haven't read it!), he endeared himself to my heart and I knew his story needed to be told. He was perfect for the Cinderella retelling, as if it was meant to be! So while I finished editing and proofing book 1, I started working on book 2 "Chasing Cinders"

My next big project is continuing on with the "Crown of Stars" fantasy retellings series. "Chasing Cinders" book 2 is well under way! I have a few side projects to keep me busy when I need a break from that, or when the characters aren't cooperating ;)

I think the key is RELAX. Take a breath. Step away. Do something else. Creativity cannot be forced, and most of the time I believe writer's block is the result of stress. When I focus on something else for awhile, the next thing I know the ideas or the answers I was trying to FORCE into existence come much easier. And then it's a scramble to find pen and paper!
