I pondered over this for 16 days (on and off). What came to mind were two TV series: "Dempsey and Makepeace" and "To the Manor Born" with Audrey and Richard. Both of the women in those couples are strong and opinionated.

I just write. It doesn't matter if it's rubbish; no one will see it. Another day I can decide which bits are worth keeping, or I can scrap the whole lot. Even if I don't use any of it, I will have gained some experience in the process.

My work in progress is a novel set in England and Japan. The main character doesn't fit into society. No one really knows him, although they think they do.
