How do you get inspired to write?
Monika Thakur I think of something that I might want to write or read about that perhaps hasn't been written about in the same way before. This gives me inspiration to start writing.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Monika Thakur Ancient sites and temples have been looted in the past and treasure buried and found. This gave me the idea for a sculpture with supernatural powers. The rest of the book took shape from there.

Monika Thakur I enjoy creating characters, places, situations, events, the whole act of creating something.
