My "office" is more like a workshop with all sorts of books, games, playthings to stimulate my mind. I also get inspired by science and technology. I read many different scientific sources that provide glimmers of what the future may be like. I work use Miro.com to create boards to transform the future for scenarios.

I use the Oculus Quest 2 to stimulate my imagination. I'm also a classically trained painter. The tool I love the most in VR is Tiltbrust. I spend time imagining, doodling, and playing. It gives my mind a new way of thinking.

I'm working on the next collection of short stories for Laundrygate 2 which will deal with future humans, animals and machines.

I had a terrifying nightmare which inspired "2016" the second short story in Laundrygate. My over active imagination was on overload from the barrage of news reports, social media and a great deal of uncertainty about the future.
The first thing I did when I finally pulled myself from the nightmare was grab my iPad and write. "2016" was confusing at first but then it all came together.
