Suzanne Cass The idea for the book I'm writing at the moment came about after my trip of a lifetime family holiday to France. I absolutely fell in love with the south of France, especially with the little Provincial town of Uzes. Sitting in the beautiful walled garden of the villa we were renting, tingles ran up my spine as my next story came to me, almost fully formed.

It's about a woman called Charlize, who's search for a quiet life in Provence France is shattered one evening when a stranger suddenly appears in her garden, covered in blood and running from two gunmen. Just as quickly, he disappears again and Charlize believes that’s the last she’ll see of him. The hero, Jean-Luc is an under cover anti-terrorism cop, who's trying to catch the gang of people-smugglers who are bringing in more and more refugees and asylum seekers from Africa. Of course Jean-Luc reappears, along with the people-smuggling thugs and life gets very hectic and dangerous for Charlize.
Suzanne Cass My Debut novel is Island Redemption. I wrote this book because I'm a huge fan of the reality TV show Survivor. I often found myself becoming completely invested in the personalities and intrigue of the show. So much so that in the end I just had to use my penchant for a good romance and write about it. What better place to fall in love than on the white sandy beaches of a deserted island, surrounded by sparkling azure water and balmy tropical skies? Add to that the question of how the chance of winning a million dollars would affect that love affair and you have certainly got the spice needed to give this story conflict and high drama.
