Writing to me is a journey into my mind - my thoughts and feelings, and I'm never short of things to explore. Each day I awake with new ideas to explore through writing. Writer's block has never been an issue for me. Distraction is the more significant issue. I have a lot of projects I started but haven't finished or even gotten very far with. I can spend an hour on a paragraph, oblivious of time. I never outline. My process is to jump in and see where it leads me. There is joy for me in this process. But I must admit it is not very productive if you measure it by completed works. Knowing this about my nature, I become disciplined and focused as needed.
